My text says it’s sent but my friend hasn’t received it. |
After you send your text, the delivery status is displayed in grey to the left of the message box.
If the status is sent it means that the message has been sent to the network but has not yet been delivered.
When the status is delivered, it means the message has reached the recipient’s phone.
Skype will continue to try and deliver a sent message for 24 hours. If we cannot send the message, the text message charge will be automatically refunded to your balance.

My text says it’s delivered but my friend hasn’t received it. |
Unfortunately, we cannot always guarantee that the correct delivery message is displayed in Skype. Text message delivery reports are usually issued by the recipient's network operator and then forwarded to Skype, so we have no means to verify the validity of the delivery reports we receive.
Due to the technical peculiarities of the US market, incorrect delivery status messages may occur more often when sending text messages to US cell phones.
