To make a group video call, at least one of the people
on the call must have Skype
Premium (for personal accounts) or a group
video subscription (for business accounts). If you’re
not sure which type of account you have, please contact
us .
If you have a Skype business account, to make a group video call your administrator
will need to allocate you a group video subscription. To
request a group video subscription, sign
in to your account and in the Group video tab, click
Request feature. A message will be sent to your Skype
Manager administrator requesting the subscription.
Each person on a group video call will need:
- Skype 5.0 or higher (Windows or Mac).
- A high-speed broadband
connection.
- A webcam.
- A microphone and speakers (built-in or separate headset with microphone).
- If using Windows, a DirectX 9.0c compatible video card.
Depending on the number of people you are calling, your computer will also need to meet the following requirements.
