Skype for Linux users can host and participate in conference calls. You can either call a group, join a group, or you can add other people to a call you are already on. Remember, you can have up to 25 people on a conference call.

To call a group, you will first need to create the group (if you have not done so already).

1. Sign in to Skype.
2. In the Contacts list, select the first person you wish to call. Click on them to select them – they will become highlighted and their profile visible.
3. Repeat this process for all the people you wish to call. If you select someone you don’t wish to call, click on them again to deselect them. You can Ctrl-click to select multiple people).
4. Right-click on one of the selected contacts and click Start conference call with selected contacts.

To call a group that already exists, click on the group you wish to call. Then, in the conversation window, click the  button. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to dial the available members of the group (only members who have Online status will be called):

To add other people to a call you are already on:

1. In the Contacts list, right-click on the person you wish to add.
2. Click Invite to conference.
3. Newly added people will be called within your current call.
