You can adjust your call settings during a call – this
could be a call
to someone who’s on Skype, conference
call, video
call, group
video call, or call
to phones or mobiles. Different options become available
depending on the type of call. The following explains how
you can use each call setting.
When you make a call, you will see these options displayed when you move your mouse in the calling area.
These options enable you to change the way your call is displayed and are described in the table below.

Click to hide or reveal the Contacts, Recent, and Facebook tab. |

Click to reveal the instant message area for this call. You can then send instant messages to the people on the call. |
C |
This button appears when you have a webcam so you can turn your video on and off. When your video is on, the button is white and other people on the call can see you. When it has a red line through it, it is off. |
D |
Mute your microphone so other people can’t hear you. When your microphone is muted, the button has a red line through it. To un-mute yourself, click it again. |
E |
Click and select:
Take a picture - This option is available during a 1-to-1 or group video call when another participant has turned on their webcam. Click to take a picture of the video feed.
Send File - Send files to people in the conversation.
Send Contacts - Share your contacts with the people in the conversation.
Show entire screen - Share your screen on a voice or video call. You can choose to share your entire screen or just one window. Remember, if you start sharing your screen on a video call, you'll stop displaying your video. After you stop sharing your screen, you'll need to click the camera button to start video calling again.
Add people to this call - Click to reveal your contact list, select more people to add to the call, then click Add to call.
