With Skype, it’s easy to call people in other countries. You can make a call:
Calling from Skype to someone else on Skype
Skype-to-Skype calls are free. It doesn’t matter where you are in the world, or where the person you’re calling is. It doesn’t even matter if you’re using Skype on a computer, a mobile* or your TV. As long as you’re both using Skype, the call is completely free.
You can make Skype-to-Skype calls using video or just voice
– it’s up to you. Make a voice call with up to 25 people
at once and that’s free too (as long as everyone’s on Skype).
If you want to have a video call with more than two people,
it will cost a little – at least one of the people on the
call will need a Skype Premium
subscription.
* WiFi connection or mobile data plan required.
Calling someone’s phone or mobile
You can call someone on their phone or mobile from Skype. It doesn’t matter where you are in the world: if you’re signed in to Skype, you can call anyone, anywhere at low per minute rates. The price you pay depends on the country you’re calling to, not the country you’re calling from.
Pay as you go using Skype

Or buy a monthly subscription
to a particular country or region.
Calling someone from any phone
If you’re away from your computer, you can make low-cost
international calls to friends and family from your mobile
or any phone. You just need to add your friends as Skype
To Go? contacts, and we’ll give you a special Skype
To Go number for each of them. Then simply dial these numbers
to call your friends from any phone.
It doesn’t cost anything to set up Skype To Go numbers.
You just need to have some Skype
Credit or a subscription.
